The fall season, which runs the week before Labor Day until the week before Thanksgiving, is when the WFHA accepts new members and is therefore, our most active time of the year.
Playing Opportunities
If you're looking for playing opportunities, determine if you want to become a member at the Club or Association level. Then...
- Read our latest Fall Newsletter (2011). It has information on our dues, schedule and gives an overview of the season.
- If you want to join as a Club member, come to the first day of Club and sign up. (The first official day of Club is usually the weekend after Labor Day.)
- If you want to join as an Association member, you can sign up at the first day of Club or Association practice. (The first day of Association practice is usually the weekend before Labor Day.)
- Be sure to also join the United States Field Hockey Association. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STEP ON THE FIELD WITHOUT JOINING USFHA and signing the Waiver and Release of Liability form. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
- If you still have questions about becoming a member, you can contact our President or Club Vice Presidents.
